Copyediting and proofreading for self-published fiction

Congratulations – you’ve written a novel! You’ve created interesting characters, placed them in convincing settings, invented an engaging plot, and put it all together with well-written prose. It’s finally ready to publish. Except, regrettably, it isn’t – not quite.
It’s doubtful whether anyone has managed to creates something as complex as a novel without introducing a few errors. And what’s most unfair is that the author is the person least likely to see what needs fixing. The author knows what the words are supposed to say, and the human mind tends to see what it expects to. So when the author reviews their writing, they’re likely to miss some of the typos and the grammatical mistakes; there are sentences that make obvious sense to their author, but would strike a reader as confusing when they’re encountered for the first time.
That’s what I’m here for. I can ensure that your novel reads the way you intended it to, making sure the reader can appreciate what you’ve created for them without the distractions that undermine all you’ve accomplished.
